Heavy badger traffic



Hedgehog poo

Probably would have missed this had we not captured the hedgehog on the camera trap but it's always worth a hunt for poo. A quick search on the internet suggests that this is hedgehog poo. When it's properly dried we'll give it a check to see what sort of diet we're talking about.

Surprise visitor in the garden

Despite the wisdom being that badgers and hedgehogs do not mix, with 30 minutes of each other both were in the garden last night. It's the first hedgehog we've seen in years of night time garden viewing.

Lazy long-headed badger

When faced with a bowl of peanuts this new visitor with a longer head than the other one seems to have just decided to lie down whilst eating.

Tale of two foxes

It would seem that there are two foxes visiting the garden now. One has suffered an injury to its hind leg and is limping, the other looks fit and healthy.
